Dromai, een imperiale illusionist die de legendarische draken van Volcor uit ether en as kan toveren, neemt het op tegen Fai, een heethoofdige ninja die de opstand leidt tegen de draconische onderdrukking van de imperialen, terwijl Iyslander vanuit haar ijzige hoeve op zoek gaat naar antwoorden op pijnlijke vragen schroeiden diep in haar geest.
